2.5 Hour Experience: Create a unique tile address sign.
Studio C: 730 S. Stone Avenue, Tucson, Arizona
This instructor-led workshop is recommended for intermediate artists, but all skill levels are wecome to join.
In this instructor-guided workshop, choose your own color palette to glaze pre-outlined number tiles. Then, choose a decorative tile to glaze, and combine them with your numbers for a unique ceramic tile address sign. All materials are provided, frames are available for purchase separately. Glaze up to 6 number tiles for your address sign, plus one 6" decorative art tile.
The instructor will kiln fire your tiles after the workshop, and they will be available for pickup or shipping in one week after the workshop.
Additional tiles and frames will be available for add-on purchase at the studio.
This workshop will not cover wax drawing or screen printing. Tiles will be pre-printed with numbers and designs. Please note Carly Quinn is not the instructor for our workshops
Expect that your tile art may have natural blemishes, pull backs, and pinholes that occur during the kiln firing process; While we will provide guidance, it is a hands on workshop to experiment with this glazing style, and we cannot guarantee the final quality of your DIY art. No refunds are provided due to imperfections in your fired art.
