About
Hand glazed tile in the Sonoran Desert.
Carly Quinn Designs was founded in 2011 with the vision of bringing new life to the age-old art form known as Cuerda Seca. Based in Tucson, Arizona, we are one of a handful of studios worldwide that creates hand-glazed tiles using this tile glazing technique.
Our tiles are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, hand-glazed by our talented local artists, and fired at 2,000 degrees to become lasting works of art.
Each tile is truly unique, with subtle glaze variations that add to the inherent beauty of every piece. We are not a mass-production facility. Our pieces carry the element of human touch, meaning no two are exactly alike.
With their vibrant, southwest-inspired designs and nature motifs, our small-batch, artisan creations make thoughtful gifts. You can find our tile in gift shops and galleries nationwide.
